Winning teams and runners-up adjudicated by the panel of judges will be awarded cash prizes, fast-track entries into other competitions and the opportunities for start-up incubation and other entrepreneurial pathways.

Each of the four thematic tracks will have 3 prizes (gold, silver, and bronze), with a total of 12 prizes totalling HK$40,000.

Our technical sponsor, Tencent Cloud, will separately award special prizes for the best use of their AI platform, WorkBuddy.
Fast-Track Competition Entry
- All 12 teams (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) from each track will be automatically admitted into the Finals of the Techathon+, the most prestigious tech entrepreneurship competition in Hong Kong. The event is organised by Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP). Prize winners will also receive start-up seed funding and incubation support.
- Non-winning teams can also apply for the entry to Techathon+.
Start-up and Incubation Pathways
All participating teams in the hackathon will be eligible to apply for the seed programmes through the respective universities of team members (hence mixed teams are highly encouraged) for up to HK$100,000 funding and incubation support from HKSTP.
