The HONG KONG Inter-University Generative Artificial Intelligence Hackathon for Sustainable Development Goals 2026
SUPPORTED BY
The Inter-University GenAI Hackathon for the SDGs is a Hong Kong-based extended hackathon organised by an alliance of all of Hong Kong’s eight publicly funded universities. The event challenges students to apply generative artificial intelligence technology to address issues of sustainability and contribute to social good for city’s future and thriving.
The event is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from the participating universities, no matter your degree, background (non-technical or technical), or experience. Students will have the opportunity to network and make friends across universities, attend seminars and workshops, and pitch for the chance to win prizes. Winners will be offered pathways for start-up incubation, including with Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, and entry into other entrepreneurship events.
