Requirements
Each team is required to submit the following to qualify to present on the demo/presentation day on 19 Oct 2024.
Deadline for Interim Reporting
Progress report clarifying the scope of your team’s social problem and the preliminary idea to be developed. A template of the progress report will be provided to teams at the start of the event.

Submission of pitch deck and any prototype information (videos, technical links or files). Your pitch deck may include any relevant appendices.

Competition Tracks
For the demo/ presentation day, teams will compete based on the thematic tracks. Applications may be vetted based on quality to be able to present.
Judging Criteria
Teams must demonstrate the following in their pitches:
- Proper scoping of social problem (what is the pain point?)
- Convincing and sustainable business model
- Sufficient application of GenAI technology
- Team competency to implement solution
Feasibility and impact
• Relevance of the proposed solution for addressing a specific real-world problem or challenge.
• Potential scale of impact that can be achieved, such as the number of beneficiaries, reduced costs.
• Justification of the feasibility, including technical feasibility, time and resource feasibility, financial feasibility, legal and ethical feasibility.
Novelty and innovation
• Uniqueness of proposed innovation compared with current solutions.
• Appropriate use of GenAI technology in solution.
• Creativity and originality of approach taken to solve the problem, showcasing innovative thinking and out-of-the-box idea.
Transdisciplinary co-creation
• Demonstrate the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge and skills of team members in prototyping and implementation.
• Engaged with relevant social stakeholders for scoping the problem and developing the solution.
Sustainability and ethics
• Business plan that shows scalability, adaptability, and potential integration with existing systems or processes
• Potential replication of the solution in different contexts
• Awareness and consideration of potential ethical implications and risks such as bias, privacy concerns, or unintended consequences.
Judging Panel
Each track will have a panel of judges from academia, government, industry and/or community. The judging panel will be confirmed soon.
